Australia total trade with Egypt [ A$m ] = 495 ..................2013
New Zealand total trade with Egypt [ A$m ] = 453 ..................2014
Egypt is New Zealand’s 22nd largest export market ,
consisting mainly of dairy products (butter, milk powder, milk constituents and cheese predominantly), meat (beef and lamb) and some wool.
New Zealand imported approximately AU$3m of goods from Egypt in 2014,
consisting mainly of paper, pharmaceuticals, carpets and textiles.
A number of New Zealand businesses are in-market, including Fonterra and Burger Fuel

ANZAC Day 100th Anniversary
25 April 2015 marks the 100th anniversary of the first major military action fought by the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) during World War I.
On 25 April 1915, the ANZAC’s waded ashore at Gallipoli and began seven months of intense combat that marked a significant moment in the histories of the two young nations.
On behalf of the New Zealand and Australian embassies, the New Zealand Ambassador to Egypt, Barney Riley warmly invites citizens, and their families and friends, from New Zealand, Australia, Turkey and the Commonwealth to the official ANZAC Day commemorative service and wreath laying ceremony.
Date: Saturday 25 April 2015
Time: Dawn, 5am for a 5.15am start (please note that the start time may change to 6.15am if there is daylight savings on or before 25 April)
